"Dharmatma" Dr. Yegnasubramanian
SVBF serves as an international extension of Sringeri Sharada Peetham. The foundation functions under the direct guidance of Jagadguru Shankaracharyas, Their Holiness Sri Sri Bharati Thirtha Maha Sannidhanam, and Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam.
SVBF was formed in 1995 and is guided by Dharmatma Dr. Yegnasubramanian fondly referred to as Mani Mama. The first SVBFcenter was established in Stroudsburg, PA in 2006, with a grand vision to build four centers across USA to replicate the four seats

In recognition of his yeoman service to Sanathana Dharma and Sringeri Mahasamasthanam, the highest award of the title “Dharmatma” was conferred on the auspicious Saraswathi Pooja Day (October 13th 2013). Sri.Yegnasubramanian is the third person to be conferred with this honor in the 1200 years of history of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham.
Sri Yegnasubramanian has played a significant role in the propagation of Sanathana Dharma and building the Sharadamba and Adi Sankara temples in USA and Canada.established in India by Sri Adi Shankaracharya.
